Job Description:
As a Chartered Accountant specializing in ERP development and implementation, he will be
responsible for integrating financial expertise with technical skills to streamline and optimize
financial processes within the organization. He will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and
implementing ERP systems tailored to meet the specific needs of the accounting and finance
department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into
functional specifications for ERP development, while conducting a thorough analysis of
existing financial systems to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
2. ERP Development:
Leverage accounting expertise to design and develop compliant ERP financial modules,
customize them for unique organizational processes, and collaborate with developers to
ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
3. Implementation and Integration:
Lead ERP system implementation and integration, coordinating cross-functional teams for
smooth deployment, ensuring seamless data flow with existing systems, and conducting
thorough testing for accuracy in financial reporting.
4. Training and Support:
Provide training and support to end-users on ERP functionalities and best practices, develop
user manuals and documentation for effective knowledge transfer, and serve as a subject
matter expert on financial processes and ERP systems for internal stakeholders.
5. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for
optimizing ERP processes, while collaborating with management to implement continuous
improvement initiatives that drive organizational growth through effective ERP technology
use.
6. TDS and GST Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly TDS and GST returns, ensuring
compliance with tax laws and regulations.
7. Monthly MIS Generation: Generate and present monthly Management Information System
(MIS) reports to the board, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
8. Cost and Revenue Analysis: Prepare and analyse cost and revenue reports, develop budgets,
and forecast financial performance to support business objectives.
9. Financial Statements Preparation: Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
10. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to guide financial
planning and resource allocation.
11. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data
and provide insights that support business operations.
12. Audit Facilitation: Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and
explanations as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
2. Proven experience in ERP development, implementation, and support, preferably within the
finance or accounting domain.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and regulatory
requirements.
4. Proficiency in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent
platforms.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical
solutions.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels of
the organization.
7. Project management skills to lead ERP implementation projects from initiation to
completion.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
