Job Description:
Role/ Job Title: Risk Lead – Consumer Durable Loans
Function/ Department: Retail Business Risk
Job Purpose:
Policy/ Product & scheme development, Portfolio monitoring (including Risk Analytics), Monitor and report adherence of credit policies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create dashboards & metrics for monitoring the portfolio. Tracking portfolio behavior & forecasting trends. Using risk management tools to analyse the portfolio. Ensure adherence to triggers / controls as specified.
- Monitoring portfolio mix and recommending changes in the portfolio focus.
- Coordinate with Business Intelligence team to bring out the best use of data to facilitate business, like – scorecards, micro segmentation, loss projections, early warning indicators etc.
- Roll out and support Business initiatives for specific product(s) and involves review and recommendation of changes to existing product policy norms
- Review and refine line management strategies
- Planning, designing and implementation of an end-to-end risk management process for the said product(s)
- Identify & lead initiatives of process improvement & technology adoption for risk management & to enable growth.
- Risk reporting appropriate to different audiences
- Define DoE and Monitor, implement the learnings in the policy
- Development of policies & amendments according to the changing business environment & business goals. Scheme formulation at regular intervals based on portfolio behavior, industry trends & market dynamics.
- Benchmarking best practices in the industry and incorporating the same in business through constant innovations.
- Visit markets to understand the local practices and possible challenges and incorporate that learning’s in the product/ process improvements.
Education Qualification:
Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)/Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com)/Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA)
Post-graduation: MBA / PGDM
Experience: 10 to 18 years of relevant experience
