Job Description:

Job Title: Export Sales Manager - Home Furnishing Fabrics ,  To: Head of Sales Job Summary: Seeking an experienced and motivated Export Sales Manager specializing in home furnishing fabrics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing international sales opportunities, building strong relationships with overseas clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, leading negotiations, and ensuring smooth delivery of products, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion: ○ Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand export sales in target markets. ○ Identify potential new customers and develop long-term relationships to expand the client base. ○ Conduct detailed market analysis to identify emerging opportunities, trends, and competitor activities within the home furnishing fabrics industry. 2. Client Relationship Management: ○ Establish and maintain long-term relationships with international clients, distributors, and agents. ○ Act as the primary point of contact for international buyers, ensuring prompt response to inquiries and complaints. ○ Travel internationally to meet clients, attend trade fairs, and develop strong partnerships. 3. Sales Negotiation & Contract Management: ○ Negotiate contracts, terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with clients to ensure profitable business agreements. 1 ○ Prepare and manage export sales contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. ○ Resolve customer disputes and provide solutions to any issues that may arise during the contract period. 4. Order Management & Coordination: ○ Coordinate with the production, design, and logistics teams to ensure orders are completed on time and according to customer specifications. ○ Oversee the process from production through delivery, ensuring all client requirements are understood and fulfilled. ○ Ensure proper documentation for export, including customs declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin. 5. New Product Introduction: ○ Collaborate with the design and product development teams to introduce new products tailored to international market needs. ○ Present new product collections to customers, emphasizing product features and benefits. ○ Gather feedback from customers and provide input to the design team for future product development. 6. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: ○ Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets to assist in production planning and resource allocation. ○ Track sales performance and generate reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback. ○ Develop strategies to improve sales performance based on analysis of current trends and customer preferences. 7. Team Leadership: ○ Manage and mentor a team of sales executives, setting targets and guiding them to achieve individual and team objectives. ○ Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to improve team skills and productivity. 8. Trade Shows & Business Development: ○ Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote home furnishing fabrics. 2 ○ Network with industry professionals to build relationships and identify new sales opportunities. ○ Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities to develop competitive strategies. Qualifications: ● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, Textile Technology, or a related field. ● Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in export sales, particularly within the home textiles or furnishing fabrics industry. ● Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of home furnishing fabrics, export documentation, and international trade regulations. ● Skills: ○ Proven track record in export sales, with a focus on expanding market presence and increasing revenue. ○ Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. ○ Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. ○ Familiarity with export procedures, incoterms, and compliance requirements. ○ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
