Lead— Logistics Operations
Job Description:
The Team Lead—Logistics Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing daily logistics pre-dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient coordination across stakeholders and teams. This role demands a proactive approach to optimizing processes, adherence to standard operating procedures, and driving improvements in productivity and project management.
Key Responsibilities:

Daily Logistics Operations:
- Oversee and manage daily pre-dispatch logistics operations to ensure smooth workflows and on-time deliveries.
- Track and ensure adherence to SOPs, maintaining high operational standards.

Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with the Business Operations team and Supply team for order planning and vehicle allocation.
- Foster effective communication with stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements are met in advance.

Team Management & Reviews:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics operations team, conducting regular performance reviews and setting clear objectives.
- Develop team members by identifying training and development needs.

SOP Compliance:
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with established SOPs, particularly pre-dispatch standards such as timely vehicle placements and documentation (e.g., Delivery Order release).
- Monitor adherence to pre-dispatch checklists, including photo documentation and other compliance aspects.

Dashboard & Report Analysis:
- Analyze dashboards and reports to track logistics performance metrics, vehicle placements, and on-time dispatches.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed operational decisions and optimize logistics processes.

Project & Initiative Management:
- Manage special projects to develop new logistics capabilities or enhance existing processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements and collaborate with product teams to drive technology and productivity enhancements.

Performance Tracking & Improvements:
- Track product adoption and improvements by monitoring requirements raised to the product team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in logistics operations with a focus on pre-dispatch and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in dashboard and report analysis.
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in SOP adherence and process compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of logistics software and tools.
- Prior experience in implementing process improvements and driving technology adoption in logistics.
