Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:

    • Proactively identify new business opportunities in the construction chemicals and building materials sector.
    • Develop and execute a lead generation strategy to generate high-quality leads.
    • Utilize multiple channels for lead generation, including digital marketing, networking events, cold calling, and referrals.
    • Implement best practices in lead qualification, nurturing, and conversion.
  2. Market Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
    • Analyze market data to understand target customer profiles and create focused marketing campaigns.
    • Study customer behavior patterns, construction industry demands, and regulatory factors impacting sales.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry, such as contractors, architects, and builders.
    • Understand customer needs and provide tailored marketing solutions to increase sales and brand visibility.
    • Organize meetings, presentations, and technical demonstrations of products for potential customers.
  4. Brand Development:

    • Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance the company’s brand in the market.
    • Manage branding activities including digital presence, product promotions, and awareness campaigns.
    • Oversee the production of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and product catalogs.
  5. Sales and Business Development:

    • Work closely with the sales team to support them with quality leads and market intelligence.
    • Align marketing efforts with sales goals to increase market share and sales revenue.
    • Provide continuous training and insights to the sales team on new products and market trends.
  6. Event Management & Networking:

    • Plan and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences related to construction chemicals and building materials.
    • Organize seminars, webinars, and product demonstrations to raise awareness of the company’s offerings.
    • Foster relationships with industry bodies, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
  7. Performance Tracking & Reporting:

    • Set KPIs for marketing campaigns and monitor progress against goals.
    • Regularly report on marketing performance, lead generation success, and conversion metrics to senior management.
    • Use CRM and analytics tools to track lead sources, activities, and ROI.
  8. Collaboration & Coordination:

    • Coordinate marketing efforts with cross-functional teams including product development, technical support, and operations.
    • Work closely with the R&D and product management teams to ensure that marketing strategies align with new product launches.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing and business development, particularly in the construction chemicals or building materials industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of construction chemicals, building materials, and related market trends.
  • Lead Generation Expertise: Proven track record of generating quality leads and successfully driving business growth in the construction industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and negotiate with senior executives.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize lead generation effectiveness.
  • Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, social media marketing).
  • Experience in B2B sales and marketing in the construction sector.
  • Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) for lead tracking and reporting.
