Job Description:

Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Mumbai, Nariman Point
Reporting To: HOD/TL

Compensation: Competitive, in line with market standards (Fixed + Variables)

Working Days: Monday to Friday, with 1st & 3rd Saturdays working
Work Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Mon-Fri) | 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM (1st & 3rd Saturdays)

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Looking for a candidate with a stable, long-term commitment.

Experience:

  • 3+ years preferred.

Role Purpose:
The Business Development Executive will drive market expansion, conduct strategic research, and execute business development initiatives to increase the company’s presence and achieve financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential leads using online research, industry events, social media, and networking.
  • Utilize databases and tools to collect contact information and relevant client data.
  • Collaborate with engineering, technical, and factory teams to evaluate the manufacturing and economic feasibility of new equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective lead-generation strategies targeting specific industries, regions, or segments.
  • Design and optimize email campaigns, presentations, and other materials to attract and engage prospects.
  • Qualify leads, conduct initial outreach, and assess client needs and pain points.
  • Identify and engage potential clients in the chemical industry, contributing to business development efforts.
  • Develop strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets and improve market penetration.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the chemical industry, with an understanding of engineering and technology.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to assess market trends, competition, and growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Google platforms (Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Forms) and familiarity with Power BI and data analytics.
  • Strong research and communication skills; results-oriented and people-focused.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
