Job Description

The Sales Executive/Manager for Lubricant Additives will play a pivotal role in driving market growth and revenue within the lubricant additives industry. This position is responsible for developing and managing key customer accounts, fostering relationships, and achieving sales targets in line with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in the lubricant or chemical industry, with a proven track record of sales success and a deep understanding of the market landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand the market for lubricant additives.
  • Manage and nurture existing customer relationships, ideally within the lubricant industry, or bring strong relationships from other relevant chemical segments.
  • Demonstrate strong industry knowledge, preferably in lubricants or another chemical sector with a successful sales record.
  • Create and submit accurate sales forecasts on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis, effectively managing a sales pipeline.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, including competitor activities, competing products, and identifying market threats and opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of customer credibility and manage account receivables efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales, preferably within the lubricant or chemical industry.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and developing customer bases.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the lubricant or chemical market landscape, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Financial Oversight: History of effective account receivable management and customer credibility evaluation.
