Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mutual Fund Distributor who has in-depth knowledge of
the mutual fund industry, experience in managing client portfolios, and the ambition to eventually
start their own broking firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building our firm,
managing client relationships, and contributing to our overall growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide personalized investment advice and financial planning services.
Manage client portfolios, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with their financial goals.
Conduct regular reviews and updates with clients regarding their investment portfolios.
Business Development:
Identify and acquire new clients through various channels.
Develop and implement strategies to expand the firm's client base.
Network with potential clients and industry professionals to promote the firm’s services.
Investment Advisory:
Analyze market trends and economic indicators to provide informed investment recommendations.
Stay updated on mutual fund products, investment strategies, and regulatory changes.
Conduct thorough research and due diligence on mutual fund options to ensure best-fit
recommendations for clients.
Firm Building:
Contribute to the strategic planning and growth initiatives of the firm.
Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of junior staff members.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions.
Adhere to ethical practices and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
are preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the mutual fund industry.
Proven track record of managing client portfolios and providing investment advice.
Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and mutual fund products.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mind set with a desire to start and grow a broking firm.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
