Job Title: Screen Operation Floor Operator
Job Summary:
To operate and maintain the screening section of the coal washery plant, ensuring efficient and safe processing of coal to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operation:

Monitor and control the screening process to ensure optimal separation of coal from impurities.

Operate screens, vibratory feeders, and conveyor belts.
-
Adjust screen settings, vibration frequencies, and feed rates as needed.
-
Ensure proper screening media (e.g., mesh, plates) is used and maintained.
Maintenance:
-
Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks (e.g., lubrication, cleaning).
-
Identify and report equipment issues or wear and tear.
-
Assist maintenance personnel with repairs and replacements.
Quality Control:
-
Monitor coal quality and report any deviations.

Conduct regular sampling and testing.
-
Implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
Safety and Environment:

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
-
Report hazards or near-miss incidents.

Participate in environmental monitoring and control measures.
Housekeeping:

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ensure proper waste disposal.
Communication:

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., crushing, flotation).

Communicate with shift supervisors and operators.

Report production data and issues.
