Job Title: HM Cyclone + LIMS (+15 Meters) Operator (CWD)
Job Summary:
The HM Cyclone + LIMS (+15 Meters) Operator (CWD) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Hydrocyclone (HM Cyclone) and Low-Intensity Magnetic Separator (LIMS) systems, ensuring optimal performance and quality control in iron ore beneficiation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational:

Monitor and control HM Cyclone and LIMS operations, adjusting parameters as needed.

Operate and maintain associated equipment, such as pumps, valves, and conveyors.

Monitor process performance indicators, such as feed rate, pressure, and flow rates.

Adjust cyclone settings, vortex finder positions, and LIMS magnetic field strengths.

Ensure optimal separation efficiency and product quality.
Maintenance:
-
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of wear parts.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and report to maintenance personnel.

Assist maintenance personnel with repairs and overhauls.
Quality Control and Compliance:

Monitor and record process parameters, such as grade, recovery, and yield.

Collect and analyze samples for quality control purposes.

Implement corrective actions to maintain optimal process performance.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and standards.
Safety and Security:

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Report incidents, near misses, or hazards to supervisors.
Administrative:

Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance, and quality control.
