Logistics Manager

Job Description:

• Manage transportation logistics, including freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Oversee the overall logistics operations and resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Evaluate and select logistics service providers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable transportation services.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
• Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan logistics operations accordingly.
• Responsible to take care end to end Import and export Clearances, and movement of material from warehouses across the globe.
• Supervise Value-Added Services like Re-packing, Re-labelling according to the requirements of the customer.
•  Manage 3rd party warehouses to store material safely and coordinate to distribute within India.
•  Coordinate with Clearing Agents proactively to clear shipments in time without demurrages & detention
