Job Title: Fitter/Sr. Fitter - Mechanical (CWD)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Sr. Fitter - Mechanical (CWD) to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment and machinery in our Cement Works Department (CWD). The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including crushers, kilns, mills, conveyors, and other plant machinery.

Repair and overhaul mechanical equipment, including replacement of worn-out parts.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist in root cause analysis.

Assist in predictive maintenance activities, including condition monitoring and vibration analysis.
Mechanical Fitting:
-
Assemble, install, and align mechanical equipment and components.

Perform fitting and machining operations, including grinding, milling, and drilling.

Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for mechanical fitting tasks.
CWD Specific Responsibilities:
-
Maintain mechanical equipment used in pyroprocessing, grinding, and packing systems.

Assist in maintenance of raw material handling, kiln, and cement mill systems.

Perform routine inspections and report any issues or concerns.
Senior Fitter Additional Responsibilities:
-
Lead and guide junior fitters and maintenance personnel.

Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities.

Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
