Designation- Purchase Manager

The Purchase Manager is responsible for implementing purchasing policies and procedures, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring materials are procured in accordance with organizational standards. The role also involves coordinating with various departments and ensuring compliance with quality and audit standards.

Qualification: Graduate or diploma in business studies, MBA, or qualifications in purchasing and supply.

Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience. Preferably from a hospitality background, flight kitchen, hotel, or catering industry.

Location- Andheri East
Workings Days-
Monday to Saturday(With 2 Saturdays Off)
Work Timings-
9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Salary-
Basis current package and caliber

Job Description:

  • Oversee all procurement activities, ensuring that materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Manage and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with company quality, service, and pricing standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Stores, and Cost Control) to meet the operational requirements of the organization.
  • Negotiate and maintain contracts with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards (ISO 9001).
  • Regularly monitor procurement costs, generate reports, and identify opportunities for cost-saving.
  • Resolve supply issues by addressing vendor-related complaints and coordinating corrective actions.

  • Implement sound purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Manage vendor performance and relationships.
  • Conduct market research and negotiate better pricing.
  • Issue purchase orders and coordinate with departments.
  • Monitor procurement metrics and generate reports.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and ISO standards.
  • Handle vendor complaints and resolve supply issues.
  • Collaborate with key internal departments to ensure operational continuity.
