Job Description
Direct Tax
Having knowledge of TDS payments, TDS returns, Income tax returns, Income Tax Assessments, Tax Audit, Reconciliation of 26 AS, Issuing Form 16, TCS and TDS scrutiny, etc.
Indirect Tax
Having knowledge of GST payments, GST monthly returns, GST Annual filings, GST Assessments/Audits, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for all Direct and Indirect related work on daily basis.
Scope of work:
- Preparing Data as required by Internal, Cost and Statutory Auditor Related to Indirect Tax.
- Assisting manager in Preparing workings and documentation as required by for Assessing authorities Appearing before Assessing Officer and authorities.
- Compliance : calculating Monthly liabilities Getting approvals from manager and preparing and filing returns & Payments of taxes on time, GSTR2A Reco, Co ordination with Consultants for Tax related issues. Timely Payments of PF, ESIC and PT.
- Preparing GST Chart as per Auditors Format. Charts Related to Indirect Tax & GSTR9/ 9C Annual Return Related Workings.
- Registration under GST Regime Various Amendments in GST Registration like Change in Director Details Addition/Deletion in Directors, Addition/deletion of Additional Place of Business As an when Required.
- Finalising HSN Codes of Goods and Services and Tax Rates applicability.
- Coordination For SAP GST Report and invoicing related issues.
- GST liabilities Reconciliation with SAP and Monthly Returns and payments and Passing Taxation Entries.
- Reconciliation of Revenue with Tax Working.
- Checking all online portal of Direct and Indirect taxes for any notices/demands on regular basis and replies to submitted on timely basis.
- Checking for any regular updates/amendments with respect to GST tax rates, HSN codes and updating the same in system.
