Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesman to join our team in the FMCG or Cosmetics industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and representing our brand in retail and wholesale markets. This role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and product knowledge to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Development:

    • Promote and sell FMCG or cosmetics products to existing and potential customers in designated areas.
    • Develop and maintain a portfolio of key accounts, including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers.
    • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
  2. Market Penetration:

    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor products, and market trends.
    • Attend promotional events, product demonstrations, and trade shows to showcase products and generate leads.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
    • Provide product knowledge and technical support to clients, addressing any concerns or queries.
    • Work closely with the customer service team to resolve any issues related to orders, returns, or complaints.
  4. Sales Presentations:

    • Conduct effective product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
    • Educate clients on the features and benefits of products, emphasizing their competitive advantages.
  5. Order Management:

    • Process customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
    • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with logistics teams to ensure product availability.
    • Upsell and cross-sell products where applicable to increase sales volume.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare regular sales reports, detailing sales activities, targets, and market trends.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and payment collections.
    • Provide feedback on customer needs, preferences, and market conditions to the management team.
  7. Brand Representation:

    • Act as the face of the company, ensuring the brand is consistently represented professionally.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and company policies.
  8. Market Intelligence:

    • Monitor competitor activities, including promotions, pricing strategies, and product offerings.
    • Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding customer preferences, emerging trends, and potential product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in FMCG, cosmetics, or related industries.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Good understanding of FMCG or cosmetics market dynamics.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
    • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales goals.
