Position:         Cartridge Filling Operator

Location:         Bhopal

Experience:     8 - 15 Years

Responsibilities:

• Equipment: Bausch & Strobel Machine (Cartridge Filling)

• Product: Insulin Solution and Suspension products (30:70 & 50:50)
• Pre-Operational Responsibilities: Review batch records and SOPs: Review batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure understanding of the filling process and parameters.
• Prepare equipment and materials: Prepare the filling machine, equipment, and materials needed for the filling process.
• Perform equipment checks: Perform routine checks on the filling machine and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Operational Responsibilities: Set up and operate the filling machine: Set up and operate the filling machine according to the batch record and SOPs.
• Fill insulin cartridges: Fill insulin cartridges with the correct volume and concentration of insulin.
• Inspect filled cartridges: Visually inspect filled cartridges for any defects or irregularities.
• Monitor filling process parameters: Monitor filling process parameters, such as filling speed, volume, and pressure and other as required.
• Make adjustments as needed: Make adjustments to the filling machine and process parameters as needed to ensure optimal filling performance.
• Equipment servicing: Equipment servicing and repairing, maintaining stock and smooth operation of the machine.
• Post-Operational Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain equipment: Clean and maintain the filling machine and equipment according to SOPs.
• Document batch records: Document batch records, including any deviations or issues encountered during the filling process.
• Perform quality control checks: Perform quality control checks on filled cartridges, including visual inspection and testing for sterility and purity.
• Report any issues: Report any issues or deviations encountered during the filling process to the supervisor or quality assurance department.
• Safety and Quality Responsibilities:
• Follow safety protocols: Follow safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper hygiene procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area: Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent contamination and ensure efficient operation.
• Participate in quality initiatives: Participate in quality initiatives, including continuous improvement projects and quality audits.
• Report any quality issues: Report any quality issues or concerns to the supervisor or quality assurance department.
