Job Description:
A Finishing Supervisor manages the final production stage, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards through team leadership, workflow coordination (e.g., sanding, painting, packing), quality control, training, and managing materials and schedules for timely, market-ready output. Key duties involve supervising workers, inspecting final goods, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining compliance with health/safety rules. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, schedule, and motivate finishing teams, resolving conflicts and ensuring high morale.
  • Production Oversight: Oversee activities like sanding, painting, staining, assembly, labeling, and packaging.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections, implement corrective actions, and ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • Workflow Management: Coordinate with production, logistics, and other supervisors for seamless operations and timely delivery.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct training, and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Reporting & Records: Maintain records, track production data, and report on results, progress, and issues.
  • Materials & Equipment: Manage inventory of supplies and ensure machinery is maintained. 
 
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Knowledge of specific finishing processes (e.g., construction, garment, manufacturing).
  • Experience in supervision, production, or a related field.
