Key responsibilities

System operation:Monitor and control the AFBC boiler and auxiliary systems through the DCS to maintain optimal performance.

Configuration and maintenance:Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the DCS, including control loops, alarm systems, and operating screens.

Instrumentation and equipment:Maintain and repair field instrumentation, control circuits, and various types of flow meters, ensuring the integrity of equipment history databases.

Process optimization:Adjust system levels as needed and optimize performance for efficiency and stability, while focusing on safety and compliance.

Technical support:Provide technical support for project implementation and coordinate with operations and maintenance teams.

Safety and compliance:Monitor safety equipment, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws and regulations.

Documentation:Create and maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications and requirements
- Experience with boiler operations and AFBC systems.
- Familiarity with control systems like DCS and PLC, including configuration and control loop creation.
- Knowledge of various flow meter types.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work with and supervise a team.
- A university degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics engineering is often required.
- A First Class Boiler Operator certificate may also be required.
