Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager (Rooftop Category) is responsible for overseeing sales activities within a specific geographical region related to rooftop solutions (solar panels, rooftop infrastructure, etc.). This role includes developing strategies to grow the market share, managing client relationships, and ensuring sales targets are met. The individual will lead a team of sales professionals, coordinate with technical teams, and work closely with the marketing and operations departments to deliver effective sales solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the rooftop category, aimed at expanding market share and increasing revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities, target potential customers, and convert leads into sales.
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients, including commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the regional sales team to meet or exceed targets.
- Provide training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service to enhance team performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay ahead of trends and market demands.
- Analyze customer needs and develop solutions to meet them, ensuring the product offerings are in line with industry standards.
- Collaboration with Other Teams:
- Work closely with the technical and project sales teams to ensure product offerings meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to design promotional materials and campaigns specific to the rooftop category.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Reporting & Forecasting:
- Prepare sales forecasts, budget plans, and monthly/quarterly reports to present to senior management.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and market penetration.

The Head of Technical and Project Sales is responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities for complex technical solutions and large-scale projects. This role includes managing a team of technical sales professionals and collaborating with other departments to deliver customized technical solutions to clients. The individual must have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies for large-scale projects, ensuring that the solutions meet the client’s needs and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead the technical and project sales team to achieve revenue and sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new business and expanding relationships within existing accounts.
- Identify and pursue large-scale project opportunities in various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, and industrial markets.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Act as a technical consultant for clients, providing expert advice on product specifications, integration, and project execution.
- Team Development & Management:
- Manage, mentor, and develop the technical sales team to ensure high performance.
- Organize training programs to improve the team’s technical knowledge, sales skills, and customer service abilities.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.
- Collaboration with Technical and Engineering Teams:
- Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure that all technical requirements and project specifications are met.
- Oversee the preparation of technical proposals, project plans, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of projects, from pre-sales to project completion.
- Market Research & Product Development:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging technical trends and new product opportunities.
- Provide feedback to product development teams to help improve product offerings based on client needs and industry trends.
- Reporting & Forecasting:
- Track and report on sales progress, project status, and technical sales performance to senior management.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and monthly/quarterly performance reports.
