Job Description: Team Leader – Unsecured Business Loans

Position Title: Team Leader – Unsecured Business Loans
Department: Sales/Loans
Reports To: Sales/Operations Manager


Job Purpose:

The Team Leader for Unsecured Business Loans will oversee and manage a team of loan advisors or sales agents responsible for selling and processing unsecured business loans. The role includes driving the team to meet sales targets, ensuring compliance with policies, and providing coaching and guidance to team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:

    • Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of loan advisors to achieve individual and team sales targets.
    • Assign tasks and set daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
    • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  2. Sales and Business Development:

    • Develop and implement strategies to drive loan sales.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Ensure the team effectively pitches products and services to potential clients.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Oversee the quality of customer interactions and ensure excellent service delivery.
    • Handle escalated customer issues or complaints.
    • Ensure client relationships are maintained post-loan disbursement.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure team adherence to company policies, legal guidelines, and industry standards.
    • Oversee proper documentation and verification processes for loan applications.
    • Identify potential risks and ensure loan approvals follow credit guidelines.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare and present performance reports, including sales data and team progress, to management.
    • Analyze trends in unsecured business loans and adjust strategies accordingly.
  6. Training and Development:

    • Organize training sessions to improve team members’ skills and knowledge about unsecured business loans.
    • Keep the team updated on new loan products, tools, or regulatory changes.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in unsecured business loans, sales, or financial services.
    • Proven track record in team leadership and achieving sales targets.
  3. Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of unsecured business loans and financial products.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.

  • Team sales target achievement.

Work Environment:
