Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Sales Manager for the hospitality industry with a focus on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) is responsible for generating new B2B sales opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue for hotel or event venues. This role involves targeting corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies to secure business for meetings, conferences, and large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to generate new MICE business through B2B sales channels.
  • Identify and target potential corporate clients, associations, and event planners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the MICE industry.
  • Conduct presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals for corporate events, conferences, and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of events and meetings.
  • Track and analyze market trends and competitor offerings to optimize sales efforts.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand presence.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in B2B sales strategies for the hospitality sector, particularly in MICE.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry and event planning processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Excellent presentation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within the hospitality industry, particularly focused on MICE.
  • Strong network and established connections in the MICE industry.
