Project Head(Planning & Execution)

Job Description:

About the Industry- Progressive, Growth Oriented, Medium scale, having 100+ work force, Sunday weekly off.

Experience Necessary/Industrial Exposure: - 10 year in those industry which involves Fabrication, Forming, Machining in CNC/VMC machines, Heat Treatment, Testing & Final Assembly & Automobile

Desired Knowledge- Knowledge about Heat Treatment, Machine maintenance and CNC Programming will be added advantage.

KPIs-

CNC, VMC productivity and overall Plant output improvement, Automation of various process like Heat Treatment, Assembly, Quality control, Testing, Punctuality in customer’s order fulfilment- no delays.

General-

• Should be a person who can lead the team of managers and produce results.
• Should be an aggressive, result oriented, go getter with problem solving attitude.
• Should be best in obtaining planned results from the shop floor resources.
• Should be good communicator- both verbal & written skills.
• Should be able to handle the responsibilities of entire manufacturing Unit.
• Should strictly honour and follow the defined systems.
• Should be good in shop floor man management.

Job Responsibility- Planning & Execution of our Product.

• To monitor Batch no issued once we have received PO from client. It should be done in 1 day.
• To monitor contract review of PO is proper or not (to be done in- 3 days time from PO date)
• Drawing department-

1. a) Monitor drawing preparation & issued in work shop timely in 7 days max from the date of PO received.
2. b) Monitoring drawing approval from client if needed. (drawing to get approved in 15 days maximum by sending Marketing person or drawing department for timely supply.
3. c) BOM Issue- maximum 7 days for standard chain or non-standard chain which doesn’t need drawing approval.

• PO detailing-

1. Plan products which has to be manufactured in house.
2. Plan outsourcing of Bush/Pin/Roller turning which is needed.
3. Plan bought out items like Nut bolt/Grease/Washer/Rivit etc.
4. Plan job work to send outside for link machining.
5. Plan fabrication in case of Bucket/ Pan.
6. Plan forging and machining in case of Sprocket.
7. Plan forging of different type of links.

• Raw Material Planning- (Production Shop).

1. Cutting Plan in CSC for round.
2. Cutting Plan in Sheering machines for flat.
3. Cutting Plan in Plasma for plate.

• Coordinating Job work to be sent outside. (like Machining, Turning, HT, Laser cut & Sprocket turning)
• Coordinating Placement of PO for forging of different types.
• Production Process-

1. Monitoring and Bending of plate.
2. Monitoring machining in VMC machine.
3. Monitoring Turning in CNC machine.
4. Monitoring Heat Treatment of job.
5. Monitoring testing of Link & Bush, Pin during machining & turning.
6. Monitoring testing procedure before final Assembly.
7. Monitoring final Assembly.
8. Monitoring PDI.
9. Monitoring proper dispatch.
10. Monitoring documents sent to client or not.

• Development in plant to make more automation & new ideas to implement in factory.
