Job Description:

Business Development & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and acquire startups as customers for liability products, particularly Current Accounts.
- Develop and execute strategies to engage with startups through networking events, industry partnerships, and direct outreach.
- Proactively map the startup ecosystem and identify opportunities to onboard clients.

Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including founders, CFOs, and influencers within the startup community.
- Act as the single point of contact for startups, ensuring exceptional service delivery and support for all banking needs.

Product Sales & Cross-Selling:
- Promote and sell Standard Chartered's range of liability products and services tailored to startups.
- Drive the cross-selling of other bank offerings such as payment solutions, trade finance, FX services, and lending products.

Ecosystem Engagement:
- Collaborate with startup accelerators, incubators, venture capital firms, and industry bodies to enhance the bank's presence in the ecosystem.
- Organize and participate in startup-focused events, webinars, and forums to build brand visibility.

Portfolio Management:
- Manage and grow the liability portfolio by ensuring high activation rates, balance growth, and CASA (Current Account Savings Account) penetration.
- Monitor client performance and ensure adherence to compliance and risk standards.

Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes impacting startups.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to enhance product offerings and strategies.
