Urgent Opening- Import Executive- Logistic Company at Andheri East

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Import Executive to join logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the importation process, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Imports Operations Executive: Oversee the imports process, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, co-ordinating with CFS.
2. Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with customs regulations, laws, and procedures, including classification, valuation, and duty payment.
3. Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with Consignees, Overseas freight forwarders, local freight forwarders and customs brokers.
4. Freight and Logistics Management: Negotiate freight rates at origin, manage logistics providers, and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs on transactions.

Requirements:

•     - Strong knowledge of customs regulations, laws, and procedures.
•     - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
•     - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
•     - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

 Other details:

• Work Timings – 10am to 7pm
• Working Days – Monday to Saturday (2^nd & 4^th Saturday Off)
