Job Description:

Job Title: Data Science Associate

Location: Mumbai (BKC)

Salary Range: Best in industry (It will be on Talisman HR Solutions Payroll)

Working Days: 5 days a week (Mon to Fri) and (Sat and Sun off)

Work Timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may require flexibility during closing days)

Contract: Auto-renewable (performance-based)

Responsibilities:

• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity • Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution
• Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big-data stores; perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
• Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind
• Provide timely status updates on the requirements
• Capable to drive insights even using MS Excel in the need of the hour
• Contribute to analysis planning for successful delivery of the project

Required Skills:

• 2-3 years hands-on experience in Python
• Knowledge of SQL for data extraction
• Should have experience in building 3-4 Predictive/Forecasting/Clustering models
• Should be expert in MS Excel. Comfortable in lookups, pivots and different data analysis formulas
• Should have implemented at least one project on AWS environment using AWS SageMaker and S3 buckets
