Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Sustainability
Reporting to: CHRO
Department: Human Resources
Work Location: Goa
CTC: Negotiable (₹8-10 LPA)
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability management, particularly in waste, water, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and reporting.
Key Skills and Competencies:

Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
- Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD).
- Expertise in conducting GHG inventories and waste audits.
- Sound understanding of environmental regulations and compliance related to waste, water, and emissions.

Job Responsibilities:

Waste Management:
- Develop and implement waste management strategies, including reduction, recycling, and disposal programs.
- Conduct waste audits, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimizations.
- Ensure compliance with waste management regulations and improve waste diversion rates.

Water Management:
- Lead initiatives to monitor and reduce water consumption across operations.
- Conduct water audits and recommend conservation measures.
- Ensure compliance with water discharge and quality standards.

Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Management:
- Oversee GHG emissions measurement, monitoring, and reporting.
- Develop strategies to reduce carbon emissions and implement energy efficiency initiatives.
- Stay updated on national and international GHG compliance requirements.

Sustainability Reporting:
- Prepare sustainability reports in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate data collection for metrics related to waste, water, and emissions.
- Engage with third-party auditors to validate environmental data.

Strategic Planning and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Design and execute long-term sustainability strategies aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement sustainability programs and initiatives.
- Build relationships with external regulatory bodies and industry groups to remain updated on trends and regulations.

Performance Monitoring:
- Track sustainability program effectiveness and report progress to senior management.
- Continuously improve initiatives through research and the adoption of best practices.
