Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Compliance Manager to oversee all aspects of compliance related to tracking licenses and vendor relationships within the HR department. This role will involve ensuring that all required licenses are current and valid, and that all vendor relationships adhere to relevant legal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience managing compliance risks, ensuring that vendor and license-related processes are fully compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the tracking of all HR-related licenses, certifications, and accreditations, ensuring they are always current and in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage and track vendor contracts and relationships to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement systems to monitor license renewal schedules and vendor performance to prevent any lapses in compliance.
- Conduct regular license and vendor documentation audits, identifying any areas of risk or improvement.
- Ensure vendor relationships are in line with company policies, including compliance with contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and applicable laws.
- Work closely with HR staff, procurement teams, and legal counsel to address and resolve any compliance-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations related to licenses and vendor management, ensuring the company’s policies and practices are aligned accordingly.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance processes related to licenses and vendors.
- Prepare and submit reports on compliance metrics and provide recommendations to senior management on improving compliance practices.
- Ensure all compliance documentation is maintained accurately and available for review by regulatory agencies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Require: Any bachelor’s or master’s degree, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR compliance or vendor management, focusing on licenses, contracts, and compliance processes.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing vendor relationships and license management.
- Preferred experience in Compliance within a highly regulated industry.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with different teams and influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compliance management software (e.g., DRATA) is preferred.
