Job Description:
Role & responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to expand the affordable home loan portfolio across Maharashtra
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities in the affordable housing sector.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of professionals across business development, sales, operations, and credit functions.
- Formulate and review the credit policy for affordable home loans to ensure sound risk management practices.
- Approve credit decisions for high-value or complex cases, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are conducted.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, including those laid out by the RBI and NHB (National Housing Bank).
- Oversee the end-to-end home loan process, from application through to disbursement and servicing.
- Work closely with operations teams to streamline processes and improve the customer experience.
- Develop and manage the annual business budget for the affordable home loan division.
- Monitor financial performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
