Job Description:
- Accounting: Manage the overall accounting function
- Financial Reporting: Guide and drive the finance team with respect to budgeting, financial analysis and management reporting. As a Finance Controller, the candidate will be required to work closely with the business with respect to various operating financials, cost calculations, budgets and inputs from a commercial point of view.
- Costing: Be involved with detailed product costing, with an aim to improve margins and be accountable for P&L
- Business Plans: Develop financial plans, in discussions with management. Track and work with the business to achieve agreed plans.
- Compliance: Be responsible for all compliances - Direct Taxes, Indirect Taxes, Company Law, and all others.
- Funds Management: To have an oversight on the cash flows of the business, keep a close watch on the receivables, and plan well to ensure business operations run smoothly.
- Systems and Processes: Need to lead and improvise various systems and processes, with a view to strengthening those in line with best practices.
- Audits: Work closely with internal and external auditors. Work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by the auditors.
- Team Building: Be a team player, and to continuously work towards developing skills of all the team members with a view to increasing productivity on a continuous basis.
- As part of the leadership team of the company, participate in the key strategic decision-making process and enhance the quality of decisions by highlighting financial implications of decisions.
- Uphold the financial health and integrity of the company.
- Steward the organization to optimize the financial resources of the organization most effectively.
- Implement Manage and Maintain Financial Controls organization wide.
- Timely and accurate periodical Management Reporting and analysis
Competencies Required:
- Adept at using Tally or any other SME accounting software
- Expert at MS Excel – Pivot/ VBA
- Up to date with statutory laws and accounting rules
Experience
- CA, CFA with 11-18 years of hands-on Finance & Accounts experience
- Must come with FMCG experience
- Strategic capability in planning and execution
- Proven track record of coaching and mentoring teams
- Strategic mindset and exposure to analytical decision-making processes.
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership
- Someone who has a good understanding of digital payments & platforms
- Experience in Zoho Tools will be add on advantage.

- Location: Corporate Office (Mumbai – Colaba)
- Working Days- Mon to Sat- Alternate Sat's off
- Working time- 9 hrs
- Team handling- 6 to 8 people
- Reports to: Vice President Finance
