Job Description – Plant HR with IR
Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end Plant HR operations including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.

Handle Industrial Relations (IR) activities: union management, negotiations, settlements, and maintaining harmonious employee relations.

Ensure compliance with all labour laws & statutory requirements such as Factories Act, CLRA, ESI, PF, Shops & Establishments, Standing Orders, etc.

Liaise with government authorities (Labour Department, Factory Inspectorate, PF/ESIC) for inspections, audits, and licenses.

Manage contract labour operations including contractor compliance, wage processing, and statutory adherence.

Drive disciplinary procedures, domestic enquiries, grievance handling, and conflict resolution at the plant level.

Oversee attendance, payroll inputs, shift planning, and workforce productivity.

Support performance management, training & development, and employee engagement initiatives at the plant.

Implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices aligned with corporate guidelines.

Coordinate with plant leadership to support industrial peace and operational continuity.
