Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION 

DESIGNATION - Export Documentation Executive

Location - Mumbai 

Experience - 2 years 

  1. Preparing Checklist on Software and Online Submission: This involves creating and submitting checklists related to export shipments using relevant software platforms, ensuring compliance with necessary regulations and procedures.

  2. Coordination with Shipper & Shipping Line (FCL/LCL Shipments): Effective communication with the shipper and shipping line for Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments to ensure smooth operations.

  3. Knowledge of e-Sanchit: Familiarity with e-Sanchit, a digital platform for submitting export documents, ensuring compliance with government regulations.

  4. Coordination for Transportation & Outdoor Boys: Managing the transportation process, including liaising with outdoor staff responsible for on-site tasks and cargo handling.

  5. Coordination with Shipper: Continuous communication with the shipper to ensure that all necessary documentation and processes are in place for timely export.

  6. Knowledge of VGM/ FORM 13 Filing on ODEX: Understanding the process of filing the Verified Gross Mass (VGM) and FORM 13 via ODEX, which is essential for shipping container weight verification and customs clearance.

  7. Preparing All Custom-Related Documents for Export: Compiling and preparing all necessary documents required for export customs clearance, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and other related paperwork.

  8. Knowledge of Custom Tariff: An understanding of the customs tariff codes and classification for proper declaration and clearance of goods during export.

  9. All Operations Knowledge Regarding Export CHA: Knowledge of the end-to-end export operations, including regulations, procedures, and documentation managed by a Customs House Agent (CHA).

  10. Knowledge of Factory Stuffing & Doc Stuffing: Understanding factory stuffing (loading goods into containers at the factory) and document stuffing (preparing export-related documents for submission) processes.

  11. Sending Quotations for Export Custom Clearance: Calculating the total cost involved in export customs clearance and sending quotations to customers for the services provided.
