Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Staffing:

    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including creating job descriptions, posting openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and extending offers to candidates.
    • Work closely with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment of skilled engineering talent.
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and introductions to succeed in their roles.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies, benefits, and conflict resolution.
    • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and complaints in a fair and objective manner.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture through initiatives aimed at employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Support the performance management process, including assisting managers with performance reviews, goal setting, and feedback sessions.
    • Track employee performance, ensure performance evaluations are completed on time, and assist with performance improvement plans as needed.
    • Collaborate with management to foster a high-performance culture.
  4. Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant HR laws and industry standards.
    • Assist in audits and maintain accurate records of employee data, including contracts, performance reviews, certifications, and disciplinary actions.
    • Help with the preparation and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Assist in the identification of training needs and the creation of programs to enhance employee skills and development.
    • Coordinate technical and soft-skill training sessions to improve team performance and leadership development.
    • Track training progress and assist in maintaining employee training records.
  6. Compensation and Benefits:

    • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including healthcare, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
    • Help manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and compensation.
  7. Health, Safety, and Well-being:

    • Work closely with the EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) department to promote and maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
    • Support safety training initiatives and ensure employees are familiar with safety procedures relevant to the engineering industry.
    • Monitor employee health and well-being programs, ensuring employees have access to resources to maintain work-life balance.
  8. Employee Engagement & Retention:

    • Support efforts to enhance employee engagement by helping to design and implement employee surveys, focus groups, and feedback programs.
    • Assist in initiatives aimed at improving employee retention, such as career development opportunities, recognition programs, and mentoring.
    • Promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace, ensuring equal opportunity for all employees.
