Oracle ERP Technical Resource (HCM/Payroll)
Job Description:
BASIC PURPOSE: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Oracle ERP implementation team. They will be part of a team of professionals that collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, resolve issues, implement enhancements, and manage integrations with other business applications. Upon hire, the individual will join the project team that is implementing Oracle ERP. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Oracle ERP systems (specifically HCM/Payroll), and a deep understanding of core configuration, fast formulas, and security design.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: HCM/Payroll Implementation/Development Support · Join the implementation project team to do code reviews/development of fast formulas for various Oracle applications (Oracle Fusion HCM, Oracle Payroll, Oracle Financials) · Review current/proposed HCM/Time and Labor/Payroll configuration · Work with HR, Payroll, and Compensation administrators to understand and translate business needs into functional fast formulas.
Security Administration · Function as resident team expert for Oracle ERP application security · Review and provide input on the proposed security designs for HCM/Payroll · Modify/create security roles and permissions in alignment with security controls/guidelines
Issue Resolution · Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated issues related to the HCM/T&L/Payroll modules within our Oracle ERP system. · Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement timely and effective solutions. · Coordinate with vendors and external support teams as needed to address complex technical issues.
Enhancements and Upgrades · Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize system enhancements and upgrades. · Plan and manage the implementation of Oracle ERP system upgrades, patches, and new releases. · Conduct thorough testing and validation of enhancements and upgrades to ensure compatibility and minimize risks.
