Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer with a strong background in AWS Lambda to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in developing scalable applications using Node.js and serverless architecture. This role requires expertise in cloud technologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and a passion for building high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using Node.js and AWS Lambda.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability utilizing AWS services.
- Implement API integrations and work with JSON, REST, and GraphQL frameworks.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and conduct peer code reviews to ensure timely delivery and quality of code.
- Manage and monitor AWS resources and services to ensure reliability and performance of applications.
- Continuously research and implement new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance application performance and developer productivity.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain documentation of development processes, architectures, and APIs.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and learning.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, particularly with Node.js.
- Strong experience implementing AWS Lambda functions and designing serverless architectures.
- Proficient in AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API authentication mechanisms.
- Strong debugging skills and experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
