ESG Specialist – Banking and Climate Risk
Job Description:
The ESG Specialists will focus on integrating climate risk assessments and sustainability strategies into
banking risk frameworks, aligning with regulatory standards like TCFD.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and quantify climate risk exposures for banking portfolios.
Develop ESG scoring models tailored for financial institutions.
Integrate ESG metrics into credit risk assessments and risk appetite frameworks.
Prepare TCFD-aligned disclosures and advise banks on sustainability reporting.
Conduct scenario analysis to assess the impact of climate-related risks on loan portfolios.
Required Skills:
Expertise in ESG frameworks, climate risk assessment, and TCFD guidelines.
Knowledge of banking risk metrics and regulatory integration of ESG factors.
Familiarity with green financing and sustainable investment trends.
Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Finance, or related fields.
Experience working with banking clients on sustainability projects.
