Job Description:
A Human Resources (HR) officer manages the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement. They also ensure that company policies are followed and that employees are treated fairly.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Recruit new employees and help them through onboarding
- Training: Train new employees and provide career development programs
- Payroll: Assist with payroll management so employees get paid on time
- Employee relations: Maintain positive relationships with employees
- Policy development: Create and maintain company policies and procedures
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and government regulations
- Employee data: Manage employee data, including leaves and benefits claims
- Performance management: Manage employee performance and succession planning
