President (Sales & Services)
Job Description:
Years of Experience: 12+ years of experience in automotive sales, with a proven track record in a leadership role, preferably in a dealership environment.
Role Summary The President of Sales & Services will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all sales and service operations across multiple dealership showrooms. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in the automotive industry and a strong ability to drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and optimize service operations. The President will play a critical role in shaping the dealership's strategic direction and operational excellence
Sales Leadership: • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets across all dealership locations.
• Performance Metrics: Establish sales performance metrics, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to maximize sales effectiveness.
• Team Development: Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team; provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities. Service Operations Management:
• Service Excellence: Oversee all service department operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Process Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and optimize resource allocation.
• Customer Experience: Drive initiatives that improve the overall customer experience in after-sales services, ensuring customer loyalty and retention. Market Analysis:
• Market Trends: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to inform sales and service strategies.
• Product Knowledge: Ensure the sales and service teams are wellversed in product offerings and service capabilities, enabling them to provide informed recommendations to customers. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, finance, and operational teams to align sales and service strategies with business objectives. • Executive Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO on sales performance, service operations, market conditions, and strategic initiatives. Budgeting and Financial Management:
• Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the sales and service budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with overall financial goals.
• Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to enhance profitability across sales and service operations.
