Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive growth of the Industrial & Architectural Screens (IAS) business across the Western region.

This is a techno-commercial role involving application understanding, solution selling, and client relationship management across industries such as Starch, Sugar, Paper, Mining, Chemical, Food Processing, and Water Treatment.


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Business Development & Sales

  • Drive regional sales growth in line with order input, volume, and margin targets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across key industries
  • Conduct regular client visits for:
    • Lead generation
    • Technical presentations
    • Negotiation & deal closure
  • Manage complete sales cycle from inquiry to order finalization
  • Track market trends, competitors, pricing, and new opportunities
  • Promote new products and technologies to customers

🔹 Technical Responsibilities

  • Understand customer processes and recommend suitable screening and filtration solutions
  • Perform product selection and sizing for:
    • Screen baskets
    • Flat panels
    • Nozzles
    • DSM screens
    • Trommels
    • Resin traps, laterals, etc.
  • Provide technical support in proposal preparation and specifications
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance customer efficiency

🔹 Client & Consultant Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with:
    • OEMs
    • Industrial clients
    • Consultants
    • EPC contractors
  • Get product approvals and specifications included in industrial & water tenders
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business

🔹 Internal Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and project teams
  • Support contract reviews for major projects
  • Ensure alignment between customer requirements and execution teams

🔹 Reporting & Planning

  • Submit regular sales reports and forecasts
  • Track key projects and adapt strategies based on customer needs
  • Contribute to business planning and growth strategies

Technical & Sales Skills

✔ Strong understanding of mechanical systems / process industries
✔ Knowledge of screening, filtration, and solid-liquid separation processes
✔ Ability to handle techno-commercial discussions
✔ Result-oriented and target-driven approach

Systems & Tools

✔ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates with experience in:

  • Chemical processing
  • Starch / Sugar industries
  • Paper & pulp
  • Mining
  • Food & beverage processing
  • Water treatment / ETP / STP plants
  • Industrial equipment / filtration systems

will be strongly preferred.
