Job Description:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in industrial flooring projects (factories, warehouses, pharma, food processing, engineering, and other industries).

  • Achieve sales targets by promoting company’s flooring systems and solutions.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and key decision makers.

  • Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations for clients.

  • Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and tender documents in coordination with the technical team.

  • Track ongoing projects and ensure timely order closure with proper follow-up.

  • Liaise with execution/project team to ensure smooth implementation of flooring solutions.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to provide inputs for business growth.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client database.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong background in B2B/Project Sales (preferably construction materials, flooring, epoxy, coatings, or related building products).

  • Ability to develop and nurture long-term professional relationships.

  • Good understanding of industrial flooring systems & construction practices (preferred).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Result-oriented, self-driven, and capable of working independently.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and reporting.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Any Graduate with MBA in Marketing/Sales.

  • 3–7 years of experience in project sales / building material sales (industrial flooring, construction chemicals, paints, adhesives, or related).

  • Candidates with existing network in Gujarat industrial market will be preferred.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat.
