Product Manager - Hose

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and implement a strategic product roadmap for hoses, identifying market opportunities, setting product vision, and ensuring competitive differentiation.
• Product Development: Lead the development of new hose products and enhancements, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet design and quality standards.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and customer analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for hose products.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring successful product launches, ongoing performance, and timely updates or revisions.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure the product development process is efficient and aligned with market needs.
• Sales & Marketing Support: Provide product knowledge, training, and marketing support to the sales team to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
• Customer Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback, identify product improvement opportunities, and ensure satisfaction.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure products meet all necessary quality standards and regulatory requirements, including industry-specific certifications (e.g., ISO, UL).
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends to identify areas for innovation and differentiation.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5-15 years of experience in product management, with a focus on industrial or manufacturing products such as hoses, tubing, or related components.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Life Sciences, Rubber Specialist Engineering, Business Administration). A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.                  
• Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of hose products, materials, and applications in various industries (e.g., pharma, bio pharma, medical, automotive, industrial applications).
• Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, including regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and industry standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO).
• Project Management: Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage product timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and production, to bring products to market.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends, customer needs, and product performance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership, customers, and technical teams.
• Customer Focused: A keen understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into successful product offerings.
