Job Description:

Job Description

Responsible for creating the employee capability and talent management roadmap for the organization focusing on leadership and behavioral aspects by creating a segmented approach by band, channel and potential. Also, responsible for driving the employee engagement initiative and deploying an effective internal communication framework. Role is to also look after channels nationally as NTM and zonal responsibilities of handling the team and local requirements of trainings.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

       Training Development & Delivery:

  • Design and execute structured sales training programs for new hires and existing sales teams.
  • Conduct product, process, and skill-based training across the assigned zone.
  • Develop e-learning modules, workshops, and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Deliver training through classroom sessions, webinars, and field coaching.

      Sales Performance Enhancement:

  • Identify skill gaps and training needs through assessments and feedback from sales managers.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to sales personnel to improve their skills and achieve targets.

      Coordination & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Zonal Sales Heads, Regional Sales Managers, and HR teams to align training with business goals.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure updated product knowledge and market insights.
  • Organize train-the-trainer programs for regional sales trainers.

      Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track training effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales conversion rates, productivity improvement, and employee retention.
  • Maintain training reports, feedback, and improvement plans for continuous learning.
  • Present periodic reports to senior management on training outcomes and future strategies.

Work Location & Travel

  • The role requires extensive travel within the assigned zone to conduct training sessions
  • Hybrid work model depending on company policy.

Key Requirements – Education & Certificates

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field

Key Requirements - Experience & Skills

  • 8-12 years of experience in sales or training, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, BFSI, Pharma, Telecom, or Retail.
  • Certifications in sales training, coaching, or instructional design are a plus.
