Job Description:

• Operations management:
  • Oversee daily plant operations, including startup, shutdown, and load management.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment, such as boilers, turbines, and generators.
  • Manage and coordinate the operations team, providing guidance and training.
  • Implement and enforce operating procedures, standards, and guidelines. 
• Maintenance and troubleshooting:
  • Perform or oversee routine maintenance tasks on all CHP systems and equipment.
  • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, including checking fluid levels and lubrication. 
• Safety and compliance:
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training programs. 
• Performance and optimization:
  • Monitor and analyze plant performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Optimize plant efficiency, load, and productivity. 
• Fuel and resource management:
  • Manage the handling, storage, and processing of plant fuel (e.g., coal, gas, or biomass).
  • Oversee stack yard management and other related resources. 
• Administration and record-keeping:
  • Maintain detailed records of plant operations, maintenance, and incidents.
  • Collaborate with other plant personnel and departments.
