Job Description:
A sales executive drives revenue by identifying new clients, selling products or services, and maintaining relationships with existing customersKey responsibilities include prospecting, presenting and demonstrating products, negotiating deals, managing accounts, and achieving sales targets. They must also maintain accurate sales records, often using CRM software, and collaborate with other departments like marketing.  
 
Core responsibilities
  • Prospecting and lead generation: 
    Find new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, networking, and attending industry events. 
     
  • Client meetings: 
    Meet with potential and existing clients virtually or in person to understand their needs. 
     
  • Product demonstration: 
    Present and demonstrate products or services to clients to showcase their value. 
     
  • Negotiation and closing: 
    Negotiate contracts and agreements to finalize sales and meet or exceed quotas. 
     
  • Account management: 
    Strengthen relationships with existing clients and identify upselling opportunities. 
     
  • Record keeping: 
    Maintain accurate client records and track sales progress, often using CRM software. 
     
  • Collaboration: 
    Work with marketing, customer support, and other internal teams to ensure a positive client experience. 
     
  • Reporting: 
    Review and report on sales performance to management. 
     
Required skills and qualifications
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills: Essential for presenting, influencing, and closing deals. 
     
  • Customer-focused attitude: Ability to understand client needs and provide solutions. 
     
  • Organizational and time-management skills: Needed to manage a large number of prospects and clients efficiently.
