Job Description:
A Project Manager for Sales & Marketing is responsible for planning, executing, and closing sales and marketing projects by coordinating teams, managing budgets, and ensuring project goals are met on time and within scopeKey duties include developing project plans, leading cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and reporting on performance and results. 
 
Key responsibilities
  • Project planning and strategy: 
    Develop comprehensive plans for sales and marketing projects, including defining scope, setting timelines, and allocating resources. This also includes developing and executing sales strategies to meet company objectives. 
     
  • Team and stakeholder management: 
    Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., creative, digital, sales) and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external vendors. 
     
  • Project execution and monitoring: 
    Oversee the day-to-day execution of projects, track progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery. 
     
  • Budget and resource management: 
    Create and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated funds and identifying cost-saving opportunities. 
     
  • Performance and reporting: 
    Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze project performance, and prepare detailed reports and presentations on project status, outcomes, and results for senior management. 
     
  • Client relationship management: 
    For roles with a sales focus, this includes nurturing client relationships, preparing proposals, and helping to close sales to meet targets. 
     
Required skills
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, and risk management. 
     
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels. 
     
  • Analytical skills to track performance, analyze data, and develop strategies for continuous improvement. 
     
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously. 
     
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and the ability to align projects with business goals.
