Proposals and Contracts Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Preparation:

• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for offshore geotechnical engineering projects.
• Review client requirements, tender documents, and specifications to develop tailored solutions.
• Ensure all proposals are accurate, competitive, and submitted within deadlines.

1. Contract Management:

• Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor contract execution to ensure adherence to agreed terms.

1. Client Interaction:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the proposal and contract stages.
• Address client queries and provide clarifications promptly.

1. Market Focus:

• Specialize in projects across the Middle East, including KSA, UAE, and other regions.
• Stay updated on regional market trends, regulations, and client expectations.

1. Coordination and Reporting:

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, and operations) to gather necessary inputs for proposals.
• Prepare periodic reports on proposal and contract activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in proposals and contracts, preferably in offshore geotechnical engineering.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of offshore geotechnical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with industry standards and practices in the Middle East.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills (Hindi speaking mandatory). Proficiency in Arabic will be an added advantage.

Software Proficiency: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with engineering or proposal management software is a plus.
