Job Description:

Roles and responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling,
referrals, and market research.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential
clients, understanding their needs to offer suitable products.
Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to prospective
clients.
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals, balancing client needs with organizational
interests to achieve sales targets.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, evaluate market gaps, and stay
updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Product Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of the manufacturing products to effectively advise clients.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and data analysis to management.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as technical and marketing departments, to
ensure client needs are met and to develop effective strategies.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in a CRM system.
Event Participation: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote
products and generate leads.
Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, complaints, and

  1. Sales & Business Development Skills

B2B sales expertise (dealing with distributors, dealers, OEMs, vendors, and direct clients)
Lead generation through trade shows, industry networks, and referrals
Experience in handling channel sales, key accounts, and distributors
2. Marketing Skills
Industrial marketing (catalogues, brochures, technical datasheets, exhibitions, trade fairs)
Digital marketing basics (LinkedIn campaigns, industry portals, product listings, SEO for manufacturing
websites)
Competitor analysis & market research specific to manufacturing sector
Product positioning & brand awareness in the B2B market
3. Technical & Product Knowledge
Understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications of products
Ability to explain product features, applications, and benefits in technical terms
4. Analytical & Commercial Skills
Pricing strategy & costing awareness (margin calculations, bulk pricing, discounts)
Sales forecasting & demand planning for manufacturing cycles
5. Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Strong business communication (emails, presentations, proposals)
Relationship building with clients, suppliers, and internal teams (production, QC, logistics)
