Job Description:
An HR Head Liaison is a senior HR professional who acts as a key link between leadership, employees, and other organizations, ensuring effective communication and implementing HR strategy. Responsibilities include managing HR functions, developing policies, and acting as a central point of contact for HR-related matters, conflict resolution, and strategic initiatives.
Core responsibilities
- Strategic and leadership liaison: Develop and implement HR strategy, acting as a bridge between senior leadership and employees.
- Communication and coordination: Serve as a central point of contact, ensuring clear communication between departments, leadership, and employees. Manage the flow of information and facilitate meetings and discussions.
- Employee relations: Handle employee concerns, manage disputes, and provide guidance to employees and managers. This also involves fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- HR function management: Oversee core HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, benefits, performance management, and training.
- Policy and compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- External relations: Liaise with external organizations, agencies, or the public on behalf of the company, as needed.
- Conflict resolution: Mediate conflicts and facilitate solutions between different parties to maintain a harmonious working environment.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR management, with a strong understanding of HR principles and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) may be preferred.
