Production Engineer- Vasai

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Injection Moulding Machines efficiently and ensure smooth production flow.

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per requirements.

• Assist the Production Manager in implementing corrective and preventive actions based on IPC test results and customer complaints.

• Coordinate with area supervisors and other departments to ensure all related activities run smoothly.

• Check and maintain all production documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor process control and maintain documentation for all production activities.

• Ensure effective GMP implementation and maintain housekeeping standards in the plastic molding area.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction without deviating from approved systems and processes.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team for handling machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

• Train machine operators and helpers on processes, safety, and related activities.

• Collaborate with QA to maintain the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).

• Assist the Production Manager with plant upgrades, installation of new equipment, and process enhancements.

• Identify and arrange necessary resources required for production activities.

• Evaluate training needs of workmen and provide relevant training.

• Use statistical techniques to analyze production data and implement process improvements.

• Work in alignment with the company’s values, mission, and vision to achieve operational excellence.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of Injection Moulding Machine operation

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and GMP

• Documentation and process control skills

• Ability to coordinate across departments

• Training and team-handling capability

• Problem-solving and cost-saving mindset

• Basic knowledge of statistical tools

Education & Experience

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Plastic Technology, or related field

• Experience in Injection Moulding Production preferred
