Job Description:
A Sales Executive for Steel Structures generates leads, secures orders for structural products (beams, channels, plates), and manages client relationships with contractors and developers to achieve sales targets. Key duties include site visits, negotiating contracts, technical coordination, ensuring timely material delivery, and payment collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identifying new projects and generating leads through networking, cold calling, and visiting construction sites.
- Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with contractors, engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales volume and revenue targets.
- Technical Coordination: Understanding structural drawings and coordinating with production/logistics teams to ensure technical specifications and delivery timelines are met.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiating prices, payment terms, and closing contracts with clients.
- Market Intelligence: Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and pricing strategies in the assigned territory.
- Reporting: Maintaining daily visit reports, sales figures, and CRM records to report to management.
- Collection: Following up with clients to ensure timely payment collection.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5 years of field sales experience, preferably in structural steel, construction, or building materials.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with structural steel products (angles, channels, beams, plates, TMT) and structural drawings.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical preferred) or a relevant field.
- Mobility: Ability to travel regularly to project sites and client meetings.

- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local construction and infrastructure market.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and CRM tools.
- Attributes: Tenacity, result-oriented, and ability to work under pressure.
