Job Description:
An Officer Sales for Steel Trade drives revenue by acquiring new clients, managing dealer networks, and achieving sales targets for steel products (TMT, pipes, coils). They conduct market research, negotiate contracts, and manage order execution. Key tasks include site visits, handling payments, and building relationships with developers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, expand customer base, and achieve monthly/annual sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, and key clients (architects, contractors, engineers).
- Order Execution: Coordinate with logistics, production, and accounts teams to ensure timely delivery and payments.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Reporting: Submit daily/weekly reports on sales performance, field activities, and customer feedback.
- Field Work: Conduct extensive market visits for dealer networking and project sales.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Graduate (preferably in Business/Commerce/Marketing) or Engineering (Mechanical/Any).
- Experience: 1–3 years in field sales, preferably within the steel, cement, or manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and CRM software.
- Other: Two-wheeler and valid driving license often required for field visits.
